I took off work a few days before Christmas and this entire week to spend with the kids while they were on break. I've never done that before. Somehow it seems brave (I really admire stay at home moms who do this every day - altough I hear they aren't home much). Today was our first day really since Dad went back to work. We had to return a gift to a store in Lehi so we went to the Dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving point. Played in sand, played in sand again, made fossils out of plaster, watched a 3D dinosaur movie, had lunch and then stopped by the library on the way home. We got back not much before dad. I think tomorrow we'll stay home the whole day.

Baby it's cold outside!
I'm not fond of hot places, although they are sounding intriguing about now. It was in the teens before Christmas and then right before break it went back into the thirties. It felt like a heat wave. Thirty would be welcome now. It's been around sixteen for a week now. And on top of the inversion we have fog, lots of fog. A few days we've been barley able to see the fence line in the back yard or even across the street, although it's doing really cool frosty design things on the trees.
