That whY chromosome

I'm out numbered at home in the gender category. I don't mind, but I find things about the Y chromosome perplexing ~ probably how it got named Y - as in why did you do that? I was reading on the couch the other day and turned to see my dog (yep, he's male as well) hogging the tv remote. Maybe it really is a "guy thing". His paw is protecting those channel buttons...maybe he's hoping for Clifford to come or some nature show... as soon as he figures out how to turn it on.
