I wrote yesterday about Andrews shoes, so I thought today I'd share Nathans loveys with you. These pictures are from 2004. He has long since moved on from them, but the horse and cow were his faithful companions that went on most of his adventures. They eventually had to stay home because we almost lost them at a store once which resulted in a panic attack from mom (not Nathan). They would always wait for him to return. They slept with him, ate meals with him and ...were potty trained before him. They had some interesting adventures.

I had a beanbag doll I was told I couldn't part with. I loved it to the brink of death to have it saved during a nap by my grandma. I have pictures of me with the poor mangled thing, which I'm grateful for. I don't really remember the doll. Just the stories my grandma told me.
I've been told by my MIL that my husband had a favorite screwdriver he slept with (for those of you that know him that's probably not all that surprising).
I had a white stuffed lamb. I thought she came alive at night. (Doesn't every kid dream of that?) :) I named her Jennifer after my sister who died before I was born since I always wanted a sister to play with. After my 3 brothers forced to me play with their mountains of Transformers & Star Wars & Legos, I would go play in my room with my 2 Little Ponies and my lamb and pretend that "my sister" was playing with me.
ReplyDeleteI actually still have the lamb and it's in Emma's room now, way up high on her bookcase, watching over her at night.
