When I mentioned this week was really busy earlier, I meant it. I barely have time to breath and none of it is really note worthy, but here are some highlights that are on the less boring side. My company started a walking campaign to "virtually" walk from one border to the other side of the state. It should take 10,000 steps a day. Everyone has pedometers and tracks our progress. It's kinda fun. Not really a lot of work, but with so little time this week I have found myself walking in circles (literally) on our block since it is dark by the time I get to it and my husband stands near the front door because he worries about me. We live in a good neighborhood and I take the dog, but he still worries. He is sweet, tad neurotic, but sweet. We had our Fireproof class again last night. I'm really enjoying this one and getting to know the other couples at our table. One couple didn't come so we added a new couple that hadn't been there the week before and they both work in my field so we stood around for almost a hour after talking. The congregation is thinking of doing a mass renewal of wedding vows at the end and we started getting carried away with advertising it in the paper and stuff. Kinda exciting and fun.

Wow this is a busy week. Paul and I each have something planned for every night after work and it's month end which is an accounting headache and I just realized that month end is Thursday not Friday. Funny how things that are stagnant on the calendar sneak up on you. I have the evening news on while working and just heard it's 77 in Moab.... that sounds good right now. The 77 degrees and Moab, both sound good. Here's another picture from our trip of Nathan being a goof.

This is the meadow in the Black Hawk campground which is one of our favorite places to camp along with Payson Lakes. It has been so nice this week (we hit the low 80's) I'm getting excited for camping season. There is a meteor shower every year in summer near my birthday and we usually hit one of these camp spots since they are far enough from the city lights to see them. We have some friends who also want to go geode hunting, which I've always wanted to do. Hopefully the plans will come together.

Wicked

My hubby and I saw wicked last night. It was amazing. We've had season tickets to the theater many years in the past and I have seen most big productions but I hadn't seen this one. I've been looking forward to it for probably three years...it takes awhile to get them from Broadway to Utah and I bought the tickets almost 6-7 months ago. What even I find funny is that I can't stand the movie Wizard of Oz, and I still really wanted to see this one. The cast did an amazing job, I loved the set. It was everything I hoped for. I liked it more than Les Mis and Phantom and I waited a long time with anticipation to see those too. This just might be my new all time favorite.

cousins

When we were in Moab my Sister-in-law drove through with her family so we all had dinner together along with my Brother-in-laws parents from Grand Junction. Here's a picture of all the cousins. Last night we had our second class in the Fireproof series and we gathered in small groups. I really enjoyed the people that ended up in our group. Good thing, we're going to be together for awhile. I think the idea is to form groups that support each other even after the class is finished.We'll see how it goes, but it's off to a good start.

get ready, here they come

Hard to believe there are only six weeks left of this school year. Andrew and his friend Sammy had their Kindergarten orientation this past Friday. I didn't realize until Sammys mom mentioned she got a bit choked up at the door that once again I hadn't. I was so excited for Nathan to start school last year that I didn't get upset until I realized that I hadn't gotten upset. I loved school and assumed he would as well, which he does. Andrew has been looking forward to going since Nathan started last year. Both of the Kindergarten teachers are wonderful and I hope to be volunteering in Andrews class. I've been helping in Nathans so far and they both know that from now on I'll switch years back and forth between them. I'm looking forward to helping in the Kindergarten again. Honestly it was a bit more fun than first grade has been. Some of it is just that Kindergarten is just plain more fun. But I think partially because I end up helping the students that need it the most and Nathan usually isn't in that group so I don't get to work with him as much as I would like. Some of the kids have grown on me and I wonder if through the years they'll end up at my house when they are in high school and what they'll be like then. There are a few that I think may never grow on me and I wonder if that will change and they'll end up being the ones I hope the kids bring home as friends. I was really hoping that Sammy and Andrew would be in the same class so I could work with her as well but I think they are going to end up in different sessions entirely. I guess there's always first grade.

Weirdest thing, my camera will only download pictures from one USB port on my home computer, I have eight. I've had this problem before so at least this time is was faster figuring out what the problem was. Anyway, here are the pictures of Nathan on his bike.
